Our 2-piece short sleeved set: The Irish overdress and the Boho chemise THE IRISH OVERDRESS Sizing: XXS/XS = 28" to 32" bust and a 24" to 30" waist S/M = 32" to 36" bust and a 30" to 34" waist L/XL = 36" to 42" bust and a 34" to 40" waist 1X-2X = 42" to 48" bust and a 38" to 44" waist Length for all sizes: 54" (easy to hem if needed) BOHO CHEMISE This oversized chemise cinches beautifully when worn with the overdress. It is full to create a full skirt. Ruffled neckline ~ may be worn over or off the shoulders. Beautiful cap sleeves. Soft poly crepe material Sizing 54" in length. Will fit up to a 16" upper arm. FABRIC The fabric is a light weight Poly Crepe. Strong and Durable. Will not shrink or loose its vibrant color. Virtually wrinkle-free. FABRIC CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Wash with lukewarm water. Will look new wash after wash. Tumble dry in medium heat ~ won't need ironing if pulled out of the drier when ready.   • FABRIC SAFETY ~ US Lab tested for toxicity and flammability. Passed all requirements. There have been high levels of toxic metals and chemicals found in the manufacturing of mass produced Fast Fashion garments. These substances can cause havoc to health and to the environment.
  • ATTENTION TO DETAIL ~ Our studio is small and we make a limited number of costumes per year. This way, we can keep a close look on quality at every level of production of our designs.

Materials

Unless indicated differently in each product description, our shields are made out of 15mm thick birch plywood and consolidated by a steel hand-hammered umbo and iron bolts.

Shipping & Returns

We offer free US shipping. The average estimated shipping time is 30 days, including a 7 to 15 days of production for our more complex handmade crafts.

Dimensions

Unless indicated otherwise, our shields have a 24 inches diameter (61 cm) and weights around 6.6 pounds (3 kg)
Because these are handmade products made with real wood blanks the sizes, textures and overall appearance may vary from the product photos and description. Some blanks might be smaller than anticipated, or larger sizes too thick to transport at a low cost. 

Care Instructions

We recommend applying three or four times per year some beeswax polish to protect the wood surface from moisture and sunlight. Apply the oil onto a lint-free cloth and rub into the wooden surface following the direction of the grain. Leave for 3-4 minutes and buff over with a clean cloth.
