The fabric is handwoven and looks like linen to give an authentic look and reflect the atmosphere of medieval times. The fabric is very soft and never fades under the sunlight.
Product History and Features : Our Medieval Viking women dress FRAYE 9082 is produced in 100% Pure Cotton Linen-look Coarse Canvas. This underdress is oriented at the cut of underclothings, which were discovered in the excavations around Haithabu. We have HANDSTITCHED the neckline, cuffs and hemline to give an authentic look and also the living atmosphere of medieval times.
This underdress FRAYE is used both as an underdress or top dress with or without a belt . The triangle parts on the lower the waist at each side give you a more flared movement..

Because these are handmade products made with real wood blanks the sizes, textures and overall appearance may vary from the product photos and description. Some blanks might be smaller than anticipated, or larger sizes too thick to transport at a low cost.

We recommend applying three or four times per year some beeswax polish to protect the wood surface from moisture and sunlight. Apply the oil onto a lint-free cloth and rub into the wooden surface following the direction of the grain. Leave for 3-4 minutes and buff over with a clean cloth.
